Busy, Fun July!

Our kickoff to summer has been a great one! While getting ready for our annual trip to Coronado our pool was completed. We couldn't be happier with the outcome. The girls have been able to enjoy it almost everyday since. Thank you Genesis Pools Inc.

Coronado, here we come!
Here we are crossing the Coronado bridge. The girls say it's like a roller coaster :)

Boogie Boarding and hanging out with dad at the beach

Soy & Uncle "AB" sharing their birthdays together. I can't believe our little Soy Soy is 3!

The girls got to help T-Tam give Reecerboy a bath. Oh how we love that little guy and all of our little blessings!

Coronado Parade...such fun to see the floats every year.

We can't forget Tia's birthday. Love ya Tia!!!

Fourth of July firework fun! We had views of three different firework shows from our hotel.

Corvette Diner... a must with the kids. It took no pushing from us, the girls just got up there on their own and danced with the waitresses. So much fun!

Thank you Uncle AB and T-Tam for hosting another fun-filled Fourth of July vacation. Can't wait 'til next year.

I'm ready for my closeup Mr. Demille

DK had her first dance recital. It was so much fun to watch and she enjoyed being on stage. She and P did such an awesome job and both looked so beautiful. Here she is getting ready. Her in P backstage waiting for their debut. Cousin Reese came to watch with Granma & Grandpa E. We celebrated going to dinner and dessert with our two stars, family and friends!

Good Days, Sunshine!

It started...our endless summer! We're putting in a pool. It will get used morning, noon and night. The girls LOVE to swim and I'm sure as soon as they wake up they'll be asking to go do so which is fine by me b/c I love it too! It's been fun to watch the process of it all. It's halfway through and should be done in a couple of weeks.

Memorial Day Weekend Accomplishment!

She did it! DK learned how to ride a bike w/o training wheels while we were at Sam and T's for the holiday. The girls came running telling us that P just taught DK how to ride her bike. It was the perfect bike, just small enough to put their feet on the ground. So when we got home she gave it a go on her bigger bike and she took to it right away. She cracks us up now as she whips around the corners.

Graduation Day!

DK graduated from Pre-K. Our little girl will be starting Kindergarten in the Fall. She was so blessed to have the same 2 teachers the last two years. Time really does fly by. P graduated as well. They were both so proud and we were too!

Didn't quite make the cut!

Well May ended with some exciting events. The Amgen Tour was one of them. Ramon took that morning off from work, so we headed downtown with the girls to watch the cyclist take off. We got there early and were able to find "Contador's" trailer with his bike outside...(hence the pic) He's one of Ramon's favorite riders. Also, standing outside the RadioShak trailer, Ramon threw DK on his shoulders (after seeing another father doing the same thing and his son getting a t-shirt) and they gave her one. She now calls it, her Lance Armstrong sleep shirt. Then a reporter came to us with her camcorder and asked me if she could ask a couple questions. I grabbed Ramon and he did it. Thinking he'd be on the local news that evening, we were let down that he didn't quite make the cut. LOL! Maybe it was that he didn't know the rumors going on about the Landis/Lance feud. Or maybe b/c he said he didn't care about that and yelled out who he wanted to take lead. All in all we had a good time.
