D turns 7

Yep, D turned 7 in September. We had family over and then she had a little party with a few friends. We made place-mats, tie-dyed tanks and swam. Here the girls are at the Fair in the last pic. and you can see the outcome of their tie-dyed tanks.

Early to Mid 2011 Recap :)

June 2011- Soy graduated from her 1st yr. of preschool and D Kindergarten. We're so proud of the both of them!
June/July 2011- Soy preformed in her 1st big dance recital this summer and turned a year older...4 years to be exact! D played in a new Spring soccer league. Its great if she continues to play considering she can do it both in the spring and fall. Unfortunately no pics... :(
July 2011- We took our annual 4th of July trip to Coronado and had a blast as usual! We celebrated 3 birthdays, AB's, Tia's and Soys. We enjoyed the beach, the parade, fireworks and AB and T-Tams hospitality.
On the last day of our summer vacation Ramon, the girls and I went to Sea World. Always a fun time and the girls loved it.
After we arrived home Sawyer was ready for her birthday present...she got her ears pierced. She was tough and didn't even shed a tear.
August 2011- D started 1st grade. Here she is ready for her first day of school, with her bff and in class. She's growing up and its going too fast. I want it all to just slow down.
Soy started Pre-K. She's loving it! She's making lots of new friends and wants to have play-dates with everyone.
Soy started tap and D soccer...pic of D to come :)

What a Year!...and some months :)

I don't even know where to begin....
It's been over a year since my last post and I have a sinking guilt feeling in the pit of my stomach. Not because I haven't kept everyone updated (sorry to my religious followers) but because my kids will see that there's a missing year of their lives.
Here, I will try to make up for it through photos and ramblings :)

FIRSTS!

In the past week the girls have had a couple of "firsts". DK started soccer practice. She's showing a lot of interest in it. Her team's name is "Pinkalicious" to compliment their pink uniforms...LOL :) Then she started Kindergarten. I can't believe it! She's really enjoying it. The first day she said she made two best friends and was bummed out when she didn't have any homework...hope that sticks!

1st day of Kindergarten

Our little Soy-Soy started preschool in the 3 yr. old room. She seemed a little apprehensive but did fine. A friend of mine is one of her teachers so I think that helps out. She also started ballet the same day which she's been looking forward to since going to sissy's tap class last year.
Here she is getting ready for her 1st day / in her classroom

Surprise!!!

The day after we got home from vacation we got a surprise. T-Tam, AB and Reecerboy came to visit for 5 whole days. We enjoyed having them visit and catching up. It's not always the same on the telephone, skype, etc. when you can have them here in person. Such a treat!
Oh Reecerboy, what are you gonna do with all these crazy girls???

Cayucos

We were invited by our friends to join them and their family on vacation at a Ranch in Cayucos. We went for the weekend and had a blast! We were able to catch up with some of our other good friends that were there too. It was our last vacation before school started, so it was nice for the girls to have that. We went to Morro Bay before our destination to seek whatever venture came
our way.

Checkin' out the sea lions :)
Can't skip the swings or a walk to the end of the pier in Cayucos
Our destination!
We had so much fun swimming, playing games, ping-pong & bocce ball tournaments, Ramon going fishing, etc.

Busy, Fun July!

Our kickoff to summer has been a great one! While getting ready for our annual trip to Coronado our pool was completed. We couldn't be happier with the outcome. The girls have been able to enjoy it almost everyday since. Thank you Genesis Pools Inc.

Coronado, here we come!
Here we are crossing the Coronado bridge. The girls say it's like a roller coaster :)

Boogie Boarding and hanging out with dad at the beach

Soy & Uncle "AB" sharing their birthdays together. I can't believe our little Soy Soy is 3!

The girls got to help T-Tam give Reecerboy a bath. Oh how we love that little guy and all of our little blessings!

Coronado Parade...such fun to see the floats every year.

We can't forget Tia's birthday. Love ya Tia!!!

Fourth of July firework fun! We had views of three different firework shows from our hotel.

Corvette Diner... a must with the kids. It took no pushing from us, the girls just got up there on their own and danced with the waitresses. So much fun!

Thank you Uncle AB and T-Tam for hosting another fun-filled Fourth of July vacation. Can't wait 'til next year.
